I can almost promise it is the heater hose, oil leaks onto it right where it connects to the motor, reach down, and feel the hose where it is attached, it is probably going to be wet under neath, as well as a bit soft, and there may already be a tear in it, if so, you will probably have to replace the hose, just get it from a parts store, it is not too hard, but getting it off the firewall is a bitch. I suggest using a razor to cut lengthwise along the hose to get it loose from the connector, DO NOT try and use vice grips to pull it off, if you crush the metal tube coming off the firewall, I believe you ahve to replace the heater core, baaad stuff.

There is a hose that runs from the turbo side up along the firewall to the throttle body. You have the same symptoms I had.



Hard to see, big pain in the ass to get to. They all split.

Update: turns out it was not the heater hose. It was the drain plug. I guess I ruled against it being a possibility out of ignorance. The plug was only on hand tight. When I turned it with my hand it came loose. Let this be a lesson to us all check your drain plug when you have your coolant system flushed. The reason I say this is that my coolant has been leaking for some time now (started after coolant flush) and the leak just now made itself obvious to me. Anyways thanks for all the great suggestions. BTW I'm going to change out that heater hose anyways. It looks like its been there for a while and may split any time now. Thanks.

When you remove that hose matt use a razor, because it's waaayyyy easy to crush that copper hose, and also invest in some high temp insulation for that hose to protect it, from any spilt oil. A little extra something. You'rs was loose, mine was on soooo tight. Go figure.
