So I'm cruising home from Washington, DC last night in the n/a...doing 80mph, 5th gear, perfectly straight interstate. Being 2am, my squinted and tired eyes glance over to see an orange glow from the idiot cluster...check engine light...sheeeeeeeeet...

Glance down at the temp guage...slightly below 1/2 where it always is. Oil pressure - right at 60. So I think "hmmm, thats odd?" After being on for a few seconds it goes off. Then comes back on for a few seconds...then shuts off. Never to come back on for the remaining hour of the trip.

oh well, looks like it was nothing...just weird that it came on for the first time in over 2 years. The last being just before I put in a new O2 sensor. And for the 2 years before that...never.

Sooo, I guess maybe it was just a fluke, or.....lately i've noticed my e-brake idiot light it always on...maybe due to the soldering behind the cluster. could have been that i guess...maybe I'll check the codes tonite and see if anything new has registered...

Anyone else have their check engine light come on annually? lol
