Well, I wake up early thinking lets take the car out, i was going to do it last night but at 2am I dont think my neighbors would like that. So i go out and adjust my idle a bit, start my car let it idle, it gets warm and is idling, so i back it out of my garage, and i go to stop.....well, not stoping...uh-oh, press the brake franticly, it stops, bout a foot from some mail boxes. So i pull it back in my garage, hit the freezer in my garage..ROFL....push my brake pedal, and i hear fluid starting to hit the floor...so i get out, abs is puking its guts out..now my question is...

if i dont my have brake booster vac source plugged in properly could this happen??

I have the brake booster plugged into the Largest opening on LIM, below the 3 that are lined up....correct spot, or does it go to the larger nipple in the middle...

does your e-brake work? I mean, to keep from bumping into stuff? I've driven with just downshifting and e-brake (not that I'm suggesting that)

sorry I don't have an answer for you https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

No it won't, you just won't have power brakes.. What you have is a leak. you may be able to fix it by just finding the line fitting or banjo bolt fitting it's leaking from and just losening it up and reseating it. You will need to bleed your brakes.

Ok, would pulling the abs lines off, and then putting them back on without bleeding the brakes cause this? I pulled one of the lines off and put it back on once..?

Im pretty sure im on the wrong brake booster vac source, but since nobody can tell me if i right or not, im not sure, and, i dont have power brakes right now...

the fluid is comming out of the abs unit, on the underside....

The brake booster hose has a one way valve in it, if you put it on the wrong way you won't have power brakes.

If you didn't get the brake line seated properly it could leak. Your going to need to bleed your brakes no matter what because you have a leak in the system that has sucked air in to it.

I dont have any check valve on my brake booster/vac line...heh...maybe that could be the problem...

Yea you've got a leak for sure. Where is the fluid pissing out? Check the master cylinder, see if both reservoir's are empty, if so you prolly have an issue at the mastercylinder, if only one is empty you prolly have a leak at one of the calipers, ie an open bleader, broken line or a line broken between the mastercylinder and the calipers.
