anyhow, I left the charcoal canister on my car so I still have the nipple on the intermediate housing going to that. On the filler I put a tiny k&n filter on so it can vent to atmosphere...

on my TII if you cap both it will smoke alot. if you vent both it might cause it too.........

that amount of smoke and the color is definately oil, I would suspect that you lost the rear seal on the turbo, looks exactly like my GT-R at the moment, car runs fine, covers the neighborhood in smoke though, and look out if you decide to hit boost, you will look like James Bond trying to get away from somebody.

The turbo on my T2 does this also. It looks like I hit the smoke screen button from Spy Hunter... Newer, bigger turbo on the way though!
