ok i found a guy who will sell me a manual tranny and all of the parts to do a conversion for $500. the tranny only has 68000 miles on it and it is from a 90. ok how hard is it to do the swap? i talked to a guy today and he said he wouldnt even do it. he says that it would be too hard. how hard is it really? what all is involved??

im thinking that the indentions will be in the metal where the clutch is supposed to go. these things did all roll off the same assembly line. i will have to look at it. my auto will prob be dying soon so i can rebuild the auto one for about 2000 or do this.

all the holes are there, if not there stamped there as stated above, the swap isnt that hard, 5 speed tranny, the clutch hydralics are simple and small, youll need the interior trim pieces from a 5 speed rx7, as far as i know the driveshaft should bolt right up? correct me if im wrong
