What does the positive battery wire connect to? I am replacing that wire and i dont know where it runs... is it the main fuse block under the hood? Also how long is the wire so i know how much to buy. My car wouldent start so I got my starter rebuilt and replaced my clutch safety switch, and it turned out that wire caused it all it was rusty and i want to replace it. Thanks in advance for the info

Really? Mine goes to the starter, with an off-shoot to the fuse block, through fuse, to alternator. I bought those generic battery clamps that have the bolt-down plate, ran 2 separate cables from the battery terminal (to starter and fuse block).

With a piece of string, trace the path of the cable with the string (several bends in the cable), then measure the length of the string.

I had the same exact problem as you. Except the day before it wouldn't start, I bought a new end for the cable. I was bored and replaced it, and decided to try to start the car.
