heh...dude within the past month ive drained and flushed the coolant like 5 or more times....taking the radiator out many times so i just decided to flush while its out...

Speaking of coolant temp sensors, I just purchased a fluidyne radiator to replace the stock radiator. The fluidyne has a place to accept a temp sensor for my water temp gauge that I will be installing. It makes it really easy to install without having to drill and tap in the water pump but how accurate do you think it will be in the bottom of the radiator?

check the sensor on the rear iron housing of the engine, the one wih the oil filter on it. Theres a little sensor on the drivers side, the wire may have disconnected.

but i dont want to fix it and find out that i'm really still overheating the car i just didn't know it... what color is the plug or wire

for my temp gauge i have a nut welded to my thermostat housing, this might not be possible with an S5 since its plastic, you can also look for one of those blocks that goes inline with your radiator hose and has a bung for a temp probe.

Id rather have my coolant temperature gauge before the thermostat....
