I thought the coolant temp sensor was on the bottom of the radiator??? I could be wronge. Or on the lower part of the water neck. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

I don't know about an s5 TII, but I'm pretty sure the water temp sensor is just to the left of the oil pressure sender at the back of the block

for the gauge cluster gauge it's by the oil pressure sender on the rear iron as said above.. but there is also one in the water pump housing which i'm guessing the ecu uses for it's dedicated purpose only.

If you dont mind having a dead gauge, just put it where the stock one was/is right next to the oil pressure sending unit.

If you do mind having a dead gauge on your dash, take off the waterpump and have it drilled/tapped to accept your new sending unit.

MazdaEnthused 08-19-2003 12:25 AM

FrestyleFC3S 08-19-2003 12:27 AM
