that is actually in the boot of a 74 Pantea, I was just using that for referance. I ran a Optima in my 510 right behind the passenger seat, and had no issues. I was using a tie-down that looked much the same. If I could just get one with the Efini logo rather then the Pantera logo it would be worth the $120 that they cost.

Sounds like a good spot. That would lower your center of gravity and put weight over the drive wheels at the same time! A win-win situation for sure!

I bet you could force it round by putting a couple heavy-duty band clamps around it and tightening the bejeebers out of it!

I believe it was on the odyssey web site I read they are classified as dry cells for shipping purposes and will not spill anything when broken... which is why they can be shipped easily as dry cells. I havent taken a sledge hammer to mine yet though.
