hello, i am going to buy another Rx7 soon but this is going to be my first turbo.

i am going to buy a super awesome blown t2, and i was curious if anyone konws where i could find longblocks for a decently good price; sub $1000. i was able to find 2 or 3 NAs for about 400, so i just assumed that a t2 would only be about 700-800.

any help would be greatly apreciated

Yeah, rob sells some great engines. All j-spec too I think. Also check out any of the rotary specific online shops, most carry engines.

do not buy a blown motor. buy a working one. rebuild it, port it. but make sure it isn't destroyed when u buy it, maybe after it runs. If you buy one broken (like i did) you'll have to replace alot more than just seals and springs, you'll have to most likely change rotors, housings and plates. a working motor will usually not need this. It'll be cheaper and much more joyful to rebuild a working one.

i just had a bad experience with www.tigerjapanese.com , they may have sent my motor but i canceled before they had the chance to take my money or send the motor because as soon as they get my CC info they started being ******* shady and then the guy on the phone decided to be a dick... sooooo needless to say i wouldnt reccomend them based on their customer service... nismo got his motor from them and their prices are cheap but i just dont like spending 1300 at a company and having them tell me they cant send me and invoice because they want to close the shop and i can call at 9am if i want one..
