you are getting confused here. the ring and pinion is in the differential in the rear of the car. this has nothing to do with the transmission. final drive gear aka ring and pinion in the differential.

when i drop the clutch in my gtu at 7k it squats and leaves to 10ft strips with open diff. takes some finessing but you can get two strips sometimes. can't wait to install new suspension and LSD

my car has been out of commision for quite some time now but the last time i ran it i ran a 14.9... that was with bonez intake, no cats, removed AC, and I hit fuel cut because i hadn't bought the FCD yet (6,500 was my cut).... as soon as I get my e6k in (piece of crap haltechs has to be behind on orders when I order the damned thing) I'm hoping to have my problems fixed and be running (hopefully!!!!) high 13s....
