well i took out the tach. on my car because i really do not pay attention to it.. i mainly pay attention to the stock RPM gauge......whats the redline on a FC Turbo II?

Erik 03-06-2003 08:47 PM

7000

datboyjoe08 03-06-2003 08:52 PM

do i really need a tach or the stock tach will do...becuase the tach was originally placed where the emergency lights would show up at???? seems like a distraction

Not many cars have the tac in the middle, thats where it should be. I do like the s5 tac better, looks better.

TIIs have a redline? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif I've taken mine to 16k rpm, and no, the engine didn't survive.

Use a Stack tach if you are going to replace it. i hate autometer

Stack tach = $280

rmaiersg 03-09-2003 08:38 PM

16k is crazy. Anyone know where the fuel cut off is?

ILUVMY88CABRIO 03-09-2003 11:49 PM

My stock tach is off by about 200 rpm.
