Spending money on something that will decrase the lifespan of your exhaust and not making any more

power or gaining more reliability as a result just seems like a waste of money for me if you own this

sort of vehicle.

If you go ahead with it, spend an extra $50 and get a fire extinguisher too.

I am not sure exactly how you got the imformation that "removing the cats doesnt make power"

i disagree

i do agree that every RX-7 owner should have a fire extinguisher.

I never mentioned anything about cats, i'm just saying that having flames shooting out the back of your car won't really be beneficial to anyone. My car is

fast, i use it on the track and the street and its completely legal. I don't have to worry about the cops looking under the car and finding gutted cats and all sorts of pollution ****

missing off the car, no to mention lighting up the car behind me whenever i put my foot down.

I always thought modifying cars was about improving performance reliability, and safety- not setting fire to people just cos it looks cool.

when you put a aftermarket exhaust on or hallow out your cats, you shoot flames when you run rich (i.e redline, downshifting at hight RPM's) its easy to do.
