When I got my car (86 n/a), it came with an 87 na. It's pretty much trashed cosmetically, the interior is useless. I was told that it ran when the previous guy got it. I can't figure out how to be sure the engine isn't bad. It's more than likely got some good engine parts on it, but I don't know if it's worth keeping. Should I try to part the engine out? Or is there a way I can tell the engine is good? If the engine is good, I was thinking of selling it, or if I got wiley I could take it apart to learn some stuff, but that would more than likely never happen, and if it did, would end up in a junk heap. Your thoughts are appreciated.

I also never checked to see if it had been stolen, considering one window is smashed, and the head wires were cut. And most interior pieces are gone.

Pull the motor, streetport and rebuild it, then SELL IT.

Or pull, port, and rebuild the motor... Put it in your car, and do that with the motor from your carr... And sell it.

That sounds nice, except for the fact that I have little funds, little skill inside motors, and I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. I'm assuming that would be costly, right?

Hmmm... Not TOO bad if you do it yourself, and the motor is in good condition... In the end, you'd make out either way.

Let me put it this way: Am I looking at hundreds or thousands?
