the first thing i ever got was a porsche, then a ford probe. that was mainly my POS '86 NA.

as for my turbo, it's never gotten mistaken for anything. only admiration and respect. i love it. i've never gotten a bad comment about my TII, or an insulting comparison. with the spoiler and hook scoop, it's obviously not a ford probe. the the "turboII" on the side makes it distinct.

I LOVE MY TII

alot of people mistake my Mazda for the old 944 as well, i can understand why, they have a pretty close resemblance (sp?) We all know one thing the N/A rotary vs the pre 85 944 is no contest. I'm not to sure about the 951 (944 turbo) vs our T2. From what i understand the 951 pushed closer to 250 hp.

Bah, oh well, overrated sports cars, who needs em' i'll drive my lowerpriced, better modeled, better bang for yer' buck rx-7 anyday..

Same here except no wing and no "TURBO II" sticker on the sides. When rice sees you going down the road, they just look over at me and wanna race. It happened to me tonight. Just cruising along and all of a sudden, a little neon r/t is beside me. He revs his motor up and takes off. **** it, I'll play. Slam it in 3rd and floor it. I flew by him and then pulled in to a Sheetz. He followed me, got out of his car and came over to the pump I was at and said "Wow, thats a fast car man. What the hell is it???" We started talking about it, blah blah blah. I am very surprised that alot of people don't know that some cars were turbocharged from the factory. I have heard that too many times.

Yeah, I do this all the time. The one day a few months ago during the summer, I was in the TII and a champagne gold S4 N/A drives by and its some older guy with grey hair. I wave to him all excidedly, like a little kid, and he waves back in just the same manner. A few months later, as I start my first semester at the Auto Tech program at the local community college, I see a little champagne gold S4 N/A parked in the parking lot. I walk into my class and the teacher was some older guy with grey hair and we were like, "Wait a sec... I've seen you before!"
