Hello. I think im going to blow my motor if I keep letting boost run to 15psi.

Can someone tell me what the best route is for this?

A. Port wastegate

B. Clip turbine wheel

C. Weld external w/g

I dont know if I want to buy a new turbo.

Car and mods;

87 t2

Greddy FMIC for Stock turbo

S5 turbo with upgraded compressor (like just a little large)

GSLSE secondary injectors

Walbro 255 HP rewired to 14.4 constant

Apexi SAFC

RB Turbo back exhaust

RB FCD

3" straight tid and k&n cone intake

Thank you!!!

Why do you think you are going to blow your motor? Do you have enough fuel?

enough fuel???? Well Im unable to tell what my duty cycle is, but I know it has to be close to max. I do have larger secondaries and fuel pump buy its still a grey area.

Im going to install the aeromotive fpr before the end of the year. Does the stok fuel pressure rise with boost???

Once school is out I also want to port my w/g a bunch.

Any suggestions?

You need to port the stock wastegate. Can't you tell you're duty cycle with the S-afc? you could throw some bigger secondaries in there to be safe. Atleast you have a some fuel mods.

You can purchase a pop-off valve from Rx7.com...set the spring to 12psi or something and be happy w/ it...

...boost controller would work too.

totally forgot about that... yeah that would work only if his wastegate is nicely ported, he would probably see some boost spikes.

Well thankfully my bov cant hold **** so it opens at 15 psi.. I do know that is awful for the turbo though.

Apexi SAFC does not tell duty cycle.

680cc injectors is larger than stock. Not large enough??? Dammit!
