Ok guys...I would like some advice here...

Lets just say I will be coming into a lump sum of money here in about a year or so... I currently have an 88 Vert that is in pretty good shape. I bought it close to 2 years ago with 96,000 miles on it..it currently has 111,000 on it. I use it as my daily driver because it's the only car I have right now. I have been very interested in setting it up with a TII swap, and getting some type of porting done to a jspec engine (was thinking bridgeport ) but who knows. I would basically just dump all the money I would have into the car giving it a complete makeover and wanting to get somewhere around 500 horses out of it. Do you think this is what i should do, or should I invest my money into an FD? Maybe get a blown engine FD and fix it up, or buy a really nice FD with lots of Mods already? I would really appreciate the advice. I really want to have something unique and original for everyone to jealous of....

Oh yeah forgot to mention, If I did all that work to my Vert, I would basically only bring her out on weekends and on nights of fun.... :bigok:

I'd save that money for retirement and pretend like it doesn't exist until I'm old and grey. The earlier you can retire, the earlier you can enjoy it. With that cash socked away, I'd still play with my car on my current budget.

jerkracer has a good idea...

maybe spend a little on the FC, but mod it too much and you;re just gonna have headaches trying to make it run the way you want

imho an FD isn't worth it...if anything i'd buy a supra for that money... :bigthumg:

Use it as a down payment on a house.

Hell, yes! If you are paying rent, go buy a house. There is nothing you can do with that money that will safely give you the kind of return that a well-chosen house will. Get one with a nice garage!
