Ok, so when I put my car down for the winter it ran perfect, I removed all my emissions, ps, ac, replaced all remaining rubber vaccume lines with silicone, and did the TB mod. Now heres what happens. I start it up, it revs up to about 3k, then dies completely with the snap of a finger. It wont even hold a idle at any rpm. The exhaust is poppin quite bit too so I think its running really lean. I can keep it running if I hold the throttle down and keep it above 2500-3k. Also, while running I read a solid 20in vaccume on the boost gauge so its all good, until I rev it once its warmed up and I can't even make boost from revving. It seems there is a HUGE vaccume leak somewhere. Myself, 1Revvin7, and BigT went over it last night and found a very very small insegnificant possible leak, but not big enough to kill my car. I am truly stumped. I need to drive my car back to college this weekend and it runs like utter sh*t. I tried making a thread about earlier problems before but got maybe 2 or 3 replies saying "sounds like a vaccume leak" but I already know that. There has to be somebody that has experienced these problems before.

a few things I would check...

TPS, make sure the signal is correct

Fuel pressure

and swap in a known good Air Flow Meter

then post back the results

He got it. He had taken off the cold start assist sensor( I believe thats what it is) and put it back on without a new gasket or rtv. He put some rtv on and its fine now.

ha, well there is still something wrong. Everything seems to be in order now. It drives fine, but I am still yet to put full boost on it. I brought it up the street and gave it about 5 psi maybe a little less, and it accelerated fine. The problem is it still surges a little. It will Idle at about 1500 for about a minute or so, then drop to 1k and start surging up and down from 1k-1200. Any ideas why its surging??
