for a weekend cruiser/drift car like yours, it will do great. Only prob will be potential for broken diffs, but N/A diffs are cheap

I have lsd in my truck and it gets squirly in wet conditions.

Learning how to drive will fix the second problem.

How many broken n/a parts will it take to make you realize a $75 used n/a LSD is what you should have done the first time?

no ****. i just got the truck a week ago.

and yeah, it is cheaper to get a used n/a lsd, instead of replacing the stock one and rewelding a few times, but they seem to be kinda tough to find, and not often for that price.

i personaly drove with a welded diff in my last 240 and had no problems whatso ever in the rain! no more than i have had with the LSD in the 7!! it does hop a bit in the turns but its livable and if u plan on drifting anyway the added tirewear wont be that big of a consern! i drove the car for a week and teh tires looked the same when the motor blew as they did when i picked the car up!! (yeah, i bought a car and a week later it blew!! ) so the wear isnt that great, but it will come in after time!

i say go for it if u cant afford a Good LSD right now!! at first i thought i wouldnt like it but i endedup liking it!

the car is a beast even on 18in wheels.i can't wait till i buy some 15-16in wheels.

i haven't had the chance to drive in the rain yet but it should be a blast.

thanks guys who answered the question...

and for spaceman... i'm sorry... i don't have A-LOTTO-CASH like you...

i'm broke as **** and do what i hafto do... welding a diff isn't getto its smart... welding diff=at the most 20bux / buying lsd=300 uumm NO!

_Jason

show me a welder that will weld a dirty, oily diff and make it hold on the 815a2 steel that the gears are made out of for 20 bucks and i'll take in it the *** for 20 miuntes. He's not welding he's forming pigeon **** around it and jamming it, like ALL welded diffs.

if you can afford to do it right, dont ****** do it at all, that's advice from painful (financially) experience
