So I was up under me car, replacing the front sway bar bushings, when i noticed this weird snorkel thing. It was about 1" in diameter, made of a ribbed plastic, and black. It had one end pointing forwards in the air dam, and the other end seemed to head up towards the driver side head light.



What is this?



I'm just curious.

p.s. upon a second reading...my description of this object might also fit a small *****.......hmm......

 

is it the little scoop for the batt. that feeds air into it

 

maybe the air feed for the stock air box

 

It goes to the battery location, I'm pretty sure.

 

theres an air pump silencer too

 

I think he's talking about the tube that feeds air to the battery box

 

Hrmm....A tube feeding cool air into the battery box......
