does anyone know any ways to take off some good weight without gutting my interior? I have already taking out the AC and all of its components..is there anything else that i could get rid of that i dont really need to loose weight?

ac, power steering, the windshield washers are like 20-40lbs, theres lots of plastic up in the front of the car too

Just eat a lot of salad. You don't have to "gut your interior." **** that sounds painful!

the front washer bottle is amazingly heavy, its at least 3x times heavier than you think it could possibly be

are you sure of this?



my buddy has one in his garage since he just repainted his engine bay and claims there's no way it weighs more than 5lbs, with the pump on it even.



perhaps you mean full of fluid?

step 1: Remove engine,transmission, and read diff assembly from car



step 2: cut hole in floor



step 3; buy rigging, a mast, and some sails



step 4: pray for wind

You can switch to manual steering, get an aluminum hood, take off all the heatshields, air pump & emissions stuff, get lighter wheels and tires, put a piece of lexan in place of the sunroof if you have one and dont care... :mullet:
