I made the 2-light thingy for the ECU codes and TPS setting from here. The only code I got was the 3 short flashes on light #1, which this site said is my "water thermo sensor." Would this be what runs my temp gauge in my car? Because that gauge works fine as far as I can tell.

I found the sensor, right near the oil filler neck, and the wire looked intact. I didn't follow it or anything because, like I said, my temp gauge seems to be working fine. (at least it did the last time I drove my car a few weeks ago)

the ecu one is on the backside of the water pump housing under the alt. the gauge sensor is under the oil filter. the one on the front of the water pump is for the aux fan.
