My car is doing this also, I was wondering what was making my carpet soakin wet. I cleaned it out but it's startin to get wet again. I just hope that heater cores aren't to expensive and that I don't have to remove most of my dash to replace it.

you would know if its your heater core going bad, it would smell like

anti freeze. Just feel it and see if its slimy like anti freeze and smell

it as well.

Its like gooey... i personally dont think its water. Cause when we touched it, it was slimey and then it made your fingers really sticky. But it didnt smell like antifreeze.

your car will overheat, and sometimes the coolant comes out the

vents and fogs the inside of the car REALLY bad where you cant

see where you are going. At that point it usually dumps a **** load

of coolant on the floor and sometimes onto people's feet buring them, lol.

You can by-pass the heater core for now, just connect the heater hoses together under the hood, you have to take the dash out

to change it so its not so much as the price of the part

but rather it takes a while to put one in.
