I'm doing a full rebuild on my 90 TII and having a PowerFC put in. I'm planning on eventually upgrading a t04r.

I want to know if anyone has had any experience with OBX 40mm gates, and youre opinions. i'm on a budget and cant affort a Tial or anything, but i don't want a universal piece of crap off of ebay.

My other question is, for the time being, will i be okay with a 40mm while still running my stock turbo, until i upgrade? Do i need to weld the stock gate closed?

Thanks

I dont think you will find anyone on this board with the ***** to trust their engine to an OBX gate. So, actual experience may be scarce. ROFLMAO! I just went to their site and their slogan is "**** Is Good"!

The stock setup is kinda cramped, im not really sure where you will fit it in. 40mm should do, but its on the small side.

Yea i guess wastegates aren't where i should be cheaping-out on, huh?

Any more suggestion for size?

A 44mm?

A 50mm? Seems a little over-extensive.
