Hey all,

I have a GT35R (gt35/40) ready to bolt onto my engine in my fc. Im thinking of using a trust manifold to suit the turbo which has fairly short runners on it, engine is in very good condition, believe it to be a mildport.

Question is, what size external wastegate have people run with these turbos? i've heard from 38mm to 48mm. looking at running between 10psi and 16psi

Thanks

Andrew

I would use something in the area of 50mm.

Wit a small hot side, a large gate is needed for exhaust flow. Keep the gate divided from the down pipe.

Larger turbos can afford smaller gates with moderate boost (10-14 psi)
