This hks t04e kit has been quite the pain in the *** as its been overboosting constantly since i installed it a little over a month ago.

Ive never done any port work before in my life but it was fairly easy to figure out, the toughest bit was the hassle involved with getting the turbo in and out.

Theres the bastard right there, safe in its nest.

getting the thing out was a bitch, it refused to come forth and then it got stuck, the header had to come off

here are the offending ports. how very small and insubstantial they are. poor for exhaust flow.

tried to rig up something. obviously didnt work. managed to get something to work with a piece of fuel injection hose. luckily there is a place in town that made me a new line for 10 bucks.

notice the fine trail of oil. woohoo.

anyway, the car is finally fully operational and i can floor it without fear of it overboosting too much and exploding. its running about 13psi max right now. so i guess its time to think about fuel enrichment

Cool, nice pics.

Have you had any problems running a t04e with the stock IC?
