Does anyone know how to check the wastegate actuator and what should I be looking for? My car is building boost real fast an the actuator may need adjusting.

Are you over boosting? What are your mods on the car?

Rotoryshark Hybrid turbo, Digital Tuning 1.7 ECU, 680cc Primaries, 880cc Secondaries, Walboro Fuel pump, RB turbo back exhaust, ARC intercooler,HKS SSQV BOV, Custom Intake. I am building boost way too fast. could be that my vacuum line between the actuator and where it connects is leaking or connected to the wrong place? where should the other end plug in? The actuator is toward the front right?

I am still trying to grasp the concept that you do not like the idea of your turbo spooling quicker. With the hybrid and exhaust, you will boost a lot quicker than stock.

But to answer your question, the actuator should be connected to a vac source. Anywhere is fine, but stock, it goes into a small elbow off of the compressor outlet. Since you have a hybrid, I am not sure where you have it connected. If your line is leaking or not connected, then you should be over boosting. Your time to reach max boost should be the same.

yeah check the vacuum line, and then the actuator should hold vacuum
