I was wondering if it would be alright to put some heat shrink tubing on the wires. I would much rather solder them together and then layer them up with heat shrink, but I didn't know how the heat shrink tubing would hold up to the gas? I let a piece sit in gas over night to see what would happen and it didn't seem to effect it in any way. Long term exposure might be different however. Thanks
