Variable Resistor?

If you're really referring to the variable resistor, I'm pretty sure that it affects the mixture of any driving condition. That is not the case of the throttle sensor which is used only at idle and low throttle conditions.



The whole procedure to adjust the variable resistor is explain in the factory manual, but you have to know exactly what you're doing since you could mess up the whole mixture setup and get really bad fuel economy.
