So yesterday I pulled the injectors out, to send out and have fixed. Everything looks good I broke nothing which came as a suprise all the vacume lines were in good shape and no lost bolts!! Currently I am deciding what I want to remove and what should stay, The car is daily driver and will see some auto-x use. I want to keep VDI and not sure if I want to use pineapple sleevs or run 5&6th ports? I will have full exhaust soon!

You never specified your intentions.

This thread isnt even mine, lol - i dont need to specify my intentions, it just seems that he wants to have a weekend autox car but still be driveable and reliable - so looks are not as important as being a safe competitve car that is reliable enough to drive every day.

removing the A/C, condenser, and jazz will free up some space. Removing the rats nest will get rid of your VDI. As for the Pineapple Sleeves, sounds like an idea. I would just hate to have a chunk of aluminum getting sucked in to my engine. I'm curious what exhaust setup you're gonna use. That's my dilemma right now, at least the mufflers..

Yea - we're all One320!

VDI should be kept, it's worth it if you want to get the most out the S5 engine in stock form.

If the insert flies out of the sleeve, he'll just need a rebuild, oh darn - lol...

Well I orderd the sleevs and today the injectors came I post the results soon. Its going to be costly but I will end up doing a complete RB exhaust. I was going to make my own but I know the out come will just be way to loud.
