I've been slacking lately:

Here is what I accomplished last weekend, before the Auto-X Noise fiasco

1. Completed 5 lug swap

2. Drilled and slotted Brembo and Slotted Rotors

3. HP Pads on rears, waing on new pads for the front

4. MazdaComp Stiff upper strut mounts

5. 4.3 GTUs LSD Rear-end

Monday I ditched the 3" pipe and flowcrapster in the rear; left the spintech in 3"in/3" out and went 2 1/2" to a cannister magnaflow

Car reaction is much better, accelerates swiftly now. This weekend, I need to:

1. Fix minor oil leaks

2. Passenger Door handle

3. Start Microtech harness

4. Swap in a manual ECU just to satisfy my curious0ity

All I did toaday was swap ECU's. The ECU in the car had a Mazdarecycling tag on it......HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

But in a good N326 from the 86GXL. Car "seems" more responsive. We shall see on the next visit to the dyno

Did some Fuel system maintenance today. Pulled the pump, fuel pump sock was cleans as a whistle. however; the sump had ~ 1/8- 1/4" of grit/rust/crud on the bottom of it. Drained tank/filtered gas thru cheesecloth/wiped sump clean/ flushed filtered gas thru tank. Put that gas aside for lawnmower. Changed fuel filter also. refilled with clean gas and premix.

Future near term project. Take a spare tank down to be boiled out and coat with fuel tank sealer from eastwood or similiar.
