Im putting a 87 tII motor in my 88 na. on the tII harness there is a brown two wire plug by the passenger side strut tower. it comes out of the main part of the harness bout 3 inches. whoever had the engine and harness before me put a jumper wire between the two wires in the plug. could anyone tell me what the plug is for or supposed to go to. thanks

 

its the fuel pump check connector. if you jump it the fuel pump is on with the key, it bypasses the relays and ecu and stuff
