i want to run sequential turbos eventually.

i have a 1987 t2 and i want the power of a single turbo, but i need the lower end for normal driving...

i'm used to working on v8's w/my firends and this is their recommendation.

how practical is it, and do u have any recommendations?

thanks,

There's a reason why FD guys go with single turbos. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

sequential becomes a pain in the ass once it isnt running perfectly

FikseRxSeven 05-08-2003 01:28 AM

oh yeah..... how would you propose setting up your turbo's for sequential anyways?

DJ Blu 05-08-2003 06:54 AM

i'm not sure how i'd do it. It was just a quick thought that came out of a night of heavy drinking. What is the typical powerband for a single turbo? because i want to be able to drive this thing normally.

thanks for the advice.

any of the factory twins wont clear the intake of a t2 motor, so you'd have to do some kind of engine. the fd twins will fit on an fc though. not worth it imo, you also need to find an ecu that will run it and wire it all up

the japanese does it, they put FD intake on it, and put the MAF after turbo.
