Turbo vert
There's a reason why you can't find any good RX-7's: e-bay and autotrader suck. Does that car even have the turbo transmisison, etc?
I actually find N/A and verts bidding really low on ebay all the time, I doubt the people even end up selling them.

around here verts can go for 6k stock, add $950 for the jspec and $350 for the hood....

Its the labor, you can say the same thing about a N/A versus a TII, its not the price of the engine and what not, its the labor putting it all in. ECU, drivetrain, etc.
Yeah, that's why it wouldn't be worth the effort to convert them and sell them. Nobody wants to pay for labor because they all say "I could do that if I wanted to." That's what people say to me at the gym too...sure! :smirk:

Those NA transmissions have a hard time dealing with the stock 160 HP and 140 lb-ft of torque.

Is the motor still good in the car? If you're going to swap I may be interested in it.

I bet the rear end would hold out for a bit, if you did a TII engine, tranny, and got a custom end on the driveshaft made. As long as you didnt dump the clutch from a stand still, I bet the rear would hold out for a while.
