i had the hks, very simple. and i was wondering how u wire the ebrake function. sounded pretty cool

I bought an old school HKS timer from a friend for $20, looked like new. It just had the timer function on it. Served it's purpose. I had trouble with getting to school so I had to run to class a lot to beat the bell. 30 sec cool down was not an option. Plus people were like "whoa, your car is still running" I'd be like oh yeah!" and they'd be like "AWESOME." ...whatever.
It may help to some how maker the engine idle at like 1500 rpm instead of 750 because the pulley doesn't move fast enough to flow the water as well as it should. I could tell cruising last summer, especially with A/C, that when in traffic, for instance, the water temp would rise a little but if I held the engine at a slightly higher RPM it cooled down a little. Maybe this applies to the oil pump too. |
yeah, i have GReddy, works great. people are always like "is that your cell phone" when i start her up, and say "wow, your car is like knight rider" when it still runs. its cool, and i HATE just sitting in the car as it cools down. GReddy has a good feature where the longer you drive it over 3K rpm, the longer it cools down, up to 5 min.
as for the e-brake, i wouldn't trust it. you know mazda's, how much can you trust the electical wiring and the ebrake sensor? not me, i dont know if my mechanic ever hooked min up or if the ebrake sensor even works. either way, its only a safety feature. heck, if someone is going to steal my car with the timer on, they better get some place real quick in under 1 min, lol, because that's all she's good for. they will probably just thinks it's out of gas and leave it on the side of the road, LOL. |
yea i used to use the ebrake function...but then i realised a very important things...two actually
ONE - the car WILL turn off withing minutes TWO - they will have to go in a straight line, so forget about leaving a parking spot, no key = wheel is locked https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif |
