Ok im goin to run 5lbs on it not really worried bout blowing it up just wanna see what it can do but i dont know where i should tap the block for an oil line. Should i spend the money and get one of those sandwich things that adapt inbetween the filter and the block. Any ideas would b greatly appreciated. Reason im doing this i because i picked up the manifold and turbo for 50 bucks. No shaft play what so ever. Thanks

yea the oil pedestal is the easiest way.

the drain holes are all in the casting in the front cover, just not drilled.

buy at least a t2 fuel pump, FD would be better. you should also plan on bigger injectors and some way to control it, the RTEK ecu's are again the simple choice

IMO making it last forever might not be a big deal, but if you're going to spend a couple weekends on it, you may as well do it so that it'll stay together for a while

Just buy a Tee to go onto the Oil Pressure sending unit. Then find a Turbo II front cover (It will have the place for the Oil Return line and you don't have to pull the pan or anything. And you can run the Turbo II Intake if you modify the ports to match your 6 ports. You can use Devcon or whatever it's called to rework the ports. It's aluminum and very easy to work with.

Take a look at how I modified mine.

My 6 Port to Turbo mod

This was my old motor, Basically I ran a Stock N/A motor with a Turbo II front cover, S4 Turbo, S4 Intake and 550cc (Turbo II) Injectors on a stock RX7 Fuel Pump. I have a fuel pressure gauge and it never ran lean. It finally puked the apex seals out, but it had 160K on it.

So I rebuilt it, but when ahead and used Turbo II rotors, housings, center plate, but kept the N/A end plates. I like the additional intake timing they give and they are all ported. It pulls 17-20 lbs of boost on a rebuilt S5 Turbo. Incredibly strong.

I am running a Haltech for the ECU.

Oh and let me just say you won't be happy with JUST 5 lbs of boost. That's where the fun starts... You will want MORE!!!!
