ok, I don't know what the hell is going on with my car, it's a 87 turbo, with out the turbo motor, well at least with out the turbo, and it has the non turbo gauges, and everything as far as I can see is non turbo, BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! it was a turbo model, I bought the car from a wrecking yard, and have been trying to get the damn thing to pass smog,

ok, but I know it's a turbo, now what are the chances that somebody left the turbo motor in there and took all the turbo stuff off, maybe even rebult the motor

how do I tell what motor I have, with out looking at the ecu?

and the rear diff has no marks or words that I can see on it

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks guys

If it has a 6 port LIM, its a N/A engine. The 13BT LIM will only fit a 13BT block.

umm do you have a picture? the TB is on the left side of the block on an n/a and on the right side on the T2....i think.

or look for two bolt holes on top of the UIM, if they're there they were to mount the TMIC, if they're not it's an N/A.

unless they went frankenstein and kept the block but put every other N/A part.
