I'm sorry putting a turbo hood on your car makes you think you will get laughed at less?

Um Yeah, You'll notice how punctuation makes the point here!

Putting 2 sentences together to make a new one = Not what I said!!

Second, I happen to like the TII hood, it's alot easier than carving holes into the damaged one I have for autocross!

So thanks for the opinion on something you took out of context!

I'm sure some might think it "Ricey" but I just wannna keep as much air flowing as I can!

Thanks for your help everyone!

Cool, I was thinking of the same thing!

But if I could just get the Turbo hood it would save me some time.

But you never know. . . we might be looking alot alike in the hood dept. shortly!

As far as I know, unless someone changed it from a accident or something. Last I checked, a vert hood was like $700 my cost from Mazda if I remember correctly.
****, did it come already sprayed ?
Oh hell no, comes in E-coat. BY the way, even if you get a new TII hood, it doesnt come with the scoop.

Hmmm, Cardboard!

Just throw some paint on it and go!

Sounds like a plan!!

Maybe I'll just cut a slice into it and bend the metal up with some vice grips!!

lol, my cousin got a cheap late 80's - early 90s Nova when his Mustang (a 71 I think, Ill have to find a pic sometime) was being worked on, and used it to make fun of ricers, made a scoop out of PVC pipeing, made a big wood spoiler and nailed it to the back end, then he took some pnumatic sheers and cut off the roof. I laughed my a$$ off when I saw it. ...must find pictures...

That's sweet!! There's a guy in town here who made a spoiler for his chevette from a 2x4 and painted it black!! I had to double take when I first saw it, then I had to pull over to catch my breath!
