A common practice for turbo motors is running a DUMP pipe with no muffler at all. I did this on my Turbo Supra and the exhaust note was streetable.
Is this the case with a Rotary? Does the Turbocharger quiet the exhaust enough to make it streetable? |
NO!

|
NOT THAT LOUD jeez...... that sucker is very loud! LOL
|
Vosko, you should film a video of someone talking next to your car idling or revving. That way it is a whole lot easier to tell how loud it is. Nice burnout btw. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Well it seems to echo but I thought that was just the location. I don't think one can get a good feel for how loud it is from the vid. Very Nice burnout.
Nice collection of vids. I love the 20B hauling ass down the track... even though the track appears to downhill. That ride sounds sweet. |
I just drove mine around the block Saturday night with just the downpipe on and it is LOUD. God is it LOUD.
I've heard open header drag cars that were quieter. |
