Ok I know an automatic N/A RX-7 is a slow azz bucket of a car. I am going to make my car mostley for looks now mabey later on i will do an engine swap or something of the sort for performance reasons, but for now im not. If i want to have some boost like below 5-6 PSI would it be to difficult to do? I want to keep it auto cause it is more comfortable to drive till I go performance where I would go manual. What in general would I need to do and modify to accomdate the added boost?

hey hey watch ure dirty mouth boyeeeeeeee. I got an automatic 87 gxl and this **** runs. I got a 88 se which burns a lil oil and is also a auto and is faster than my gxl. Ive beaten a couple of hondaz.even last night going to the movies with mah girl and he had mad gear on his car. My car is stock (red gxl) and i took his *** on 89 pump gas. So plz. Auto are fast even though the computer shifts for u. Im doing a conversion this summer to manual so thas better. But dont sleep on autos ok. All RX-7's are Blazing FAST

my rotary must not run right then? I have 2 other cars a 2.2L Probe and a 2.8 Beretta GTU and I can say both my other cars in proper working order will wip this rx-7 (both 5speed, Probe needs oil pump Beretta Needs hood and headlights)
Let me ask you a question what would cause my car to stutter accelerating? Sometimes it makes like a clicking sound at low RPM not at high RPM just when im accelerating at low rpm. It does it rarley. Would an exhaust leak at the manifold cause a decrease in performance? My RX-7 is the first auto car that i have driven that when you drop it in to 1 or L whatever I dont know which cause my car is missing the letters that chrips the tires when it downshifts. :bigok:

IMO You'd have to be pretty careful with it or you'd bust it. I thought I just read somewhere that the auto-tranny ECU is tuned down a bit, but that could be BS. Anyway I don't think they'd be strong enough to handle it. Stock 13BT HP 182 @ the flywheel. If you've got an extra tranny, go for it and see what happens. What about an FD auto?
