the motors are pretty much the same. You dont neccessarily have to rebuild it, sometimes youll get a good tight motor, but its something to have extra money to do in case it needs it.

You can take a chance. not like vosko, i've been blessed by the jspec god https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif . My jpec has great compression and I've been racing it for the past 8 months, no leaks no problem. I was just lucky.

so what is all needed to drop in a 91 j-spec motor into an 87 turbo II? wouldn't usdm harness and ecu not work? thanks in advance

1. use the 89 block, with the 87-88 electrics 2. use all of the 89 electrics, the whole car 3. use the 89 stuff in the 87-88 car, and make adaptor harnesses mike |
