I'm new to rotory engines. I bought a basket case 88 na. I have it running but not well. I may be doing something wrong on the timing. I connect to the leading #1 plug wire set timing to 5 atdc then I check the #1 trailing plug instead of 20 atdc its advanced to ?btdc. There are alot of unknowns abot the car I'll tell you what I do know. The car is ported I don't know if its bridge or street. The previous owner was trying to supercharge it. Rats nest removed. I have the front coil as lead and the rear as trailing. I set my timing at 750 rpm. are there any jumpers I need to install before setting timing? I just hooked up the light and set it.

my timing numbers may be wrong I don't have the book with me.

TIA

Dave

Hmm weird, are your wires plugged in to the right spark plugs? The two wire from the leading coil to the bottom plugs of each rotor housing? The trailing ot the top of rotor housing. Make sure the trailings dont' get crossed, it doesn't mattter for the leadings.
