Found out the other day the MT trannies need 4 quarts. I only have 3 in mine. I have redline synthetic MT-90, but i really dont wanna go ordering more. Is it ok to mix tranny fluid? Like if i got some matching amsoil MT fluid would i be fine?

1 quart of MT fluid poured in = 1 quart of fluid in the tranny.

3 x 1 quart bottles = 3 quarts in tranny.

Filled all the way up to the lower hole, but still a ways from the top hole. I heard that you wanna fill it up to the top fill plug.

What's R&S?

Also, we really don't have any speedshops. We have a "speedshop" but when it comes down to it all they do is specialize in decals, window tinting, and more stickers. Their card reads "High Performance Auto Accessories - Decals & Window Tint." And they overprice everything by 30% at least. They quoted me 90 bucks for a 2 1/16th inch autometer sport comp boost gauge.

gauges are expensive, 90 is cheap compared to the $200+ ones.

R&S is a generic auto parts store.

You might have pepboys, autozone, STS, or numerous others.

Well, i see that same boost gauge for average 50-60 bucks online is the thing. I wanted to go order parts from them because theyre local and i don't like ordering internet stuff but even after shipping internet is still oodles cheaper on just about everything.

I checked autozone and o'reillys and pep boys, they only have amsoil synthetic stuff. I found some redline for 10 bucks a quart on some impreza store though. How much does that stuff usually go for?
