One is my Neighbor's. He doesn't use it so I get it in exchange for helping him out with the tractor.

I bet that tractor would benefit from a swapped-in 24-valve Cummins Turbo-Diesel out of a new Dodge pick-up. I drove one over the weekend--very strong. Much quicker than I expected.

A dyno run is definitely in my future!

Couple of set-backs last nite.

1. I did not have the proper transmission crossmember in house, Next day air from MAZDACOMP will remedy that situation.

The Stock 13B-RE water pump pulley actually has 2 serpentine drives on it. One for the waterpump and alternator. And one for the airpump. The one for the Airpump prevents the installation of the AC pulley on the Eccentric Shaft. Problem will be fixed by a quick trip to the machine shop today.

Just curious: What kind of hooks are you using on the engine hoist? For the record, also what chain are you using? I need new chain/hooks for the hoist I am borrowing..
