Its grinded a few times but that was after i first got her back on the road from sitting a while. Now theres no grinding or noises of any kind. I guess the damage came when the slave went out on me and i had to fight it in gear to make it home.

A bad slave cylinder will always do a number on the synchros. I was probably just stick and worked itself free

what about if it grinds in to first coming from second? Like not moving I can go from second to first no prob but if im like a 10 MPH roll and I try to go to first it grinds. could this be caused by low gear oil in the tranny or what?

obviously check the tranny fluid or change it

if you get constant grinding syncro is in like 10 pieces. i have broken my share of syncro's and twisted shafts in the trans... not fun

The 2 to 1 shift problem is a combination of worn synchros, worn synchro clutch hub, and most likely worn shift fork as well.

I am having tranny issues myself right now but I am all too familier with your problem.

I have found in the tranny teardowns I have done (on N/A FCs) that the shift forks wear like a SOB.
