Does it need a press or is it a standalone unit?

I'd rebuild my tranny but I don't have the tools

Stand alone, it makes rebuilding a mazda rx7 tranny something to love. I have bought every single bearing puller, they are all stand alone. It really makes you realize why haven't I purchased this freaking bearing puller so long ago..
