Tps Screw?

I was reading in the faq that to set the timing I need to make that ghetto rigged light well I made it and when i poped my hood and I looked at the thing I use to accelerate the car There is no screw. I see the TPS but there is no screw or spring or anything. WTF is going on

? What can I do to replace that!

Yea there is its near the tps, on the TB.

dude it is not there I see where the little black button is on the tps and I see where the screw should go but it is not there There is no screw.

OK, the trottle assembly that the TPS pushes against? With the spring and such? Right in front there is a vertical screw with a spring, the head is COVERED BY A WHITE PLASTIC CAP. Pry the cap off, there is your TPS screw (flathead screw).

There is physically no screw. No spring, no white cap, NOTHING NOTHING. it is not that I cant find it IT IS NOT THERE there is nothing ! ! ! ! ! ! NADA, Zip, Zilch, Zero. I see it on my friends car but mine does not have it We set his TPS yesterday. Mine does not have the screw.

But there is a TPS plunger? Does it push against anything?

That enginebay is SEXY.

I'd take a pic of mine, but it's all grease, and won't reflect the flash, so it'll just be black. It's like a freaking black hole in there.

the best advice i can give you 13b for ur azz, is to p.m. 1revvin7 and get him to tell you on a 1on1 basis what is goin on cause he really knows his ****. Hopefully you live near him so he can show you. If not then he will prolly show you whats up over this site. Just listen to the moderators. They know their ****. Hopefully I helped!!

take a picture of your throttle body, if you've helped a friend with calibrating the TPS you must be familiar with what is supposed to be there. It is possible you are missing some parts, or maybe your car has been modified by a previous owner. Get a photograph up so we can try help you out.
