a heavier flywheel will result in a higher EFFECTIVE mass of the car, which includes all of the rotational mass (wheels, axles, gears, rotors, flywheels, clutches, pp's, drive shafts, etc) that must be accelerated in an angular fashion along with the mass of the car which must be accelerated in a linear fashion.

if dropping revvs is a problem durning drag races, you can always power shift.

oh, and if you want more torque when launching, try slipping your clutch at a higher rpm or just straight up dropping the clutch.

whats wrong with piston engines in an rx7 body....or are you one of those "i just got my rx7 last week and think im special cause i have a rotary engine and its god" kinda guys
i dont know about you but the best thing about the rx7 is the rotary engine. when you look at a rx7 i think O thats got a rotary engine. it makes it specail. then i see one with a piston engine (IE v8) and i thing O thats all. there is on pride in it everone know about piston engine. not a lot of people know how to make a rotary fast or evin how thay work. that is y i would never put a piston enigne in a rx7.

P.S i dont want you to think im trying to be an ******* or something like that!

haltech has a flat shift feature that retards timing when the clutch pedal is pressed so you can keep on the gas during shifts.

the fact remains, heavier flywheels do not increase the rwtq. In fact, they reduce the efficiency of the system responsible for getting torque from your crank to your wheels. Reducing it.
