I've had my TII up over 140 a couple times, and I'm sure it still had some room to breathe.

This is not top speed but my 87 GXL is as smooth as can be at 110 mph. Had her there this morning.

I think FC's are geared to go to 200mph...

TII's are geared for about 160-170 at redline in 5th.

I have had my '87 TII up to 134, that's in 5th gear. I think I shifted too early, prolly could get more out of it if I would've left it in 4th for longer. Funny thing is my car was really shaky at 90mph but at 130 it was silky smooth.

i've taken my n/a to 225km/h



i usually drive around 160-180km/h (god bless radar detectors and laza cops)

the gearsplit software says:



Pegged in 5th (8k) with a 3.90 rear end a FC will do 190-195 mph



you'll need about 400-500hp

i have done 120 i know it could have gone farther but i was worried about cops

ive gone to 135-140 ... did that like twice



but i go like 220 usually
