i have an 87' base and i need new tires since mine are almost commpletely bald. i am hoping u guys can help me out as to how big of tires will fit. The guy i bought it from had 215/60/15 BFG comp T/A tires on it and i would like to know how wide of tires can i fit on my caror if mine are already to wide.



i'll appreciate any help

Phone dial rims are 14", so that 215/60/15 doesn't seem right.

You should be able to run up to 205's in the front and 225's in the back with the stock offset. I wouldn't recommend putting too wide a tire on the stock phone dials though. I believe they are only 5.5" wide. I have 235's mounted for winter on one pair of phone dials and they are ready to pop off the friggin rim!

the stock gsl-se's used 205-60-14's on the same size wheels
